Just thought I'd let people know about my new project...

Designing a large-scale aerobatic Zlin 50.
Will be producing it in two sizes and in low and hi-res versions.

nice !! I like the look so far.. I checked out your site but couldn't find any info on the plane though..I was bummed.Keep up the nice work. I hope to put out an awsome second design..Just have to think it up. Hope it is as nice as yours.

The Big Zlin is getting there slowly but surely. Here's a quick shot of how things look so far...

Since doing this pic I think I have decided that the wings are too thick and the cowl is too short. Back to Met' I suppose!

Now got the basic airframe finished but there's still alot of work to do.
Will try to get a flying version soon so you can try it 'naked' whilst I create the bitmaps!

Got a test model of the smaller-size low-res version for download. Click on the link below to get the zip file.

Please let me have any feedback on the flight performance (I know the colour is bad, that's the next job) so I can make the model perfect.

More news from the Big Zlin!

New version now available - Zlin 50, large scale.

Still got to do a different colour scheme for this new version (currently in the 'Alpine' livery)
Have double-faced the cowl on both versions now so it doesn't appear invisible from inside!

Tried to do the Hi-res versions but there was so many faces my little old PC couldn't handle it and crashed! If anyone wants to do it, give me a mail and I'll let you know how.

Latest news!

I have now been informed by several people that the Zlin is NOT Russian, it is in fact Czechoslavakian (now the Czech Republic).

My apologies to anyone I may have offended. My site has now been updated to highlight this error!
