GWS Mini-Dragonfly for FMS 8.5 - Helicopter model for FMS 8.5

Hi there everyone,

I've never done a FMS model before so this is my first ever attempt. I admittingly used someone elses helicopter model for a starting point and then proceeded to modify/tweak everything until I was relatively happy.

The helicopter fairly reasonably replicates the behaviour of a GWS Mini-Dragonfly fixed pitch helicopter (anyone know how to make a helicopter have a variable pitch motor noise?)

Very nice simulation of this mini-heli. I got the real one since Christmas ( a gift of course ... jeje ) and the simulation is very good. Thanks a lot. I presume that, if I am able to connect my "radio" to the computer, the simulation would be perfect and I will have the opportunity to learn something before to break the real one ( which is probably normal considering my experience ... ) .Thank you again. ( This is my first experience with radio control ... and everything is really new for me ... and exciting at the same time )

Yes, if you could connect your transmitter to the FMS simulation it would make things a lot better for you. Sometimes it's even worth just buying a low cost transmitter for the sole-purpose of using it with FMS (GWS transmitters are good for that).

Glad you're finding the model to be useful... feel free to tweak the parameters in the .PAR file to refine it even more. I basically got to the point where I felt it was sufficiently good to be useful as a simulation (especially when you add a bit of wind into the simulation).
