i tried downloading a few airplanes then i went on the simulator and clicked model-load and nothing i downloaded was there plz help

The trick is that you have to download your models in the FMS subfolder 'models'. Also, most models come in a *.zip or likewise compressed directory file. Unzip them first and then copy all the unzipped files into the 'models' subdirectory.

P.S. Also, make sure you are using the latest release, FMS 2 alpha 8.5. Many of the more recent models require this version. FMS 2.8.5 will also run all prior versions of FMS models.
