Channel Mixing

Where do i find out abot channel mixing? How do i know if i am PPM or PCM?

The manual is very clear about this:
PCM/PPM: Section 5A in the manual
Mixing: For example, look for the V-Tail or the Elevon sections.

Thanks for your help.
For others who may have the same problem as me, I found that on my JR Tx, the Swashplate setting was set to 3 servo, 120 degrees.
As soon as i set it to 1 servo (Normal Mode), it worked perfect.
The only thing i want to learn now is how to fly the helicopter in 3D?
Anyone got any ideas?
I'm guessing it's a setting in my JR x2610 controller?
