I get the following error message when I try to start FMS 2.0 Beta 7 on my Sony Laptop PCG-GR390 running Win XP:
"Error while getting proc address for flat thunks"
I had FMS working fine with keyboard control. Then I tried the self made sound input cable and loaded the modified "winmm.dll" file. I could not get it to work.
I then bought one of Ken's JSIM USB interface cables from rc-electronics.co.uk. It would work fine on my desktop running Win 98SE. And I could get it to calibrate correctly with the windows gaming options control pannel. But I could not get it to calibrate in FMS. Channels would just keep bouncing irratically. So I uninstalled FMS and reinstalled, and removed the winmm.dll, but I get the above error message.
Any insight, suggestions, or help would be greatly appreciated.
