Ikarus Edge come up white?

I downloaded the Ikarus Edge model from the rc-sim.de FMS 2.8 download pages, but the model comes up as all white when I load it. There are bitmap files in the zip file which have blue and white images in them, but they don't appear to be loading.

I had a similar problem when loading the 2.7 Toro flying wing model in 2.8. It flies ok, but has no colour.

Edit the DirectX file with Windows Notepad, search for the .bmp image map files and remove everything in front of the filename, then resave the file. The .bmp image maps should be in the same directory as the model and should not have pathnames in front of the image map filenames.
