Problems with new plane

I am new to makeing planes and I am having a few problems. I have made the Great planes Dazzler using MetasequoiaLE R 2.3 I used a PAR file and WAV file from another plane. but when I fly the plane in FMS it is there but you cannot see it, what could be wrong? I am also wanting information on mapping iI have read Yosito Sekiai's tutorial but it relates to MetasequoiaLE R 2.1 or 2.2 and my version is different, it does not work the same?
Any help with this would be greatly recieved

Im not very experianced with Metasequio but when i done somthing in Metasequio and loaded it up in fms nothing changed and i was then told i was saving it wrong.

do you put save as and save it as X file?

If not then do that and see if it works if you are saving it correctly then im sorry i cant help you.

No I just tryed that and it didn.t work

Make sure you're using Meta LE as it's the only version that outputs a correct DirectX .x file for FMS. You need the latest version of 2.3 LE as earlier ones did not produce a valid DirectX file.

Your current model is using an FMS 2.7 .par file. There are only a handful of parameters to edit. Your model should be fine with just about any version 2.7 .par file as there is zero model geometry built into the older .par. The newer, bigger and better FMS 2.8 .par file has a whole lot more entries in the .par file and allows for a much closer modeling experience.

Keep on trying. It's got to be something in the way you're saving the DirectX file that's causing issues. Your model worked on my computer.
