Irvine Tutor 40

I've now started a new project in hope of improvment in making paint shcemes but have come once again across another problem that i can't solve.

The problem is this when you change the paint shceme for the wing in the bmp file it copys it on to the bottom of the wing as well.
I wish to put a diffrent design on the bottom and dont know how?
I sort of managed to do it it showed up perfectly in Metasequoia and i saved it correctly this time but when you load it up in fms it dosnt show the paint scheme under the wing and the plane becomes very shiny?

I've looked at some info on how to do paint shcmes and it dosn't make sense to me and i cant get it to work.

The paint shceme is the Irvine tutor 40.
If anyone can once again come to my rescue i would greatly appreciate it

When you apply an image map to a surface within Metasequoia LE, you select only that part of the model you wish to apply the map to.

When image mapping the top of the wing only, you must click on the [Fr] button to select only those surfaces directly in front of you.

If the [Fr] button is not pressed, both sides of the wing are selected and you'll see the image map in reverse on the opposite side.

Make sure you unclick the [Fr] button for most operations or you can really wreck the 3D model by selecting a partial object and moving it around. Remember the Ctrl-Z key as Undo is your friend.

this is whats happening.

in Metasequoia i changed the bottom of the wing colour with out changing the top of the wing and i save it correctly this time but when i load it up in fms the bottom stays the main colour in the bmp file, dosnt show the new colour it shows i Metasequoia and also the plane looks a little bit diffrent sort of very shiny and like blown up parts of the plane.

i will try to screen shot it if it helps

I made sure the Fr button wasn't pressed and still no diffrence :(
