Radio Information

Hi there, new to your forum and have a question.
I have an old radio that I use, weather permitting, to control my piper. The tx is a Challenger 620, made by Aristo-Craft/HiTec. It doesn't have a 'buddy' connector. Is there any way to use this Tx with FMS without rendering it useless for actual flight control ? The Tx is a 6 ch. Digital Proportional FM controller.
