Dxsim.exe File Missing

Dxsim.exe File Missing

My husband got this for Christmas. The CD did not include Dxsim.exe that the installation instructions reference. The only files on the CD are fms2alpha83 and fmsbeta70. Now what? :?:

Go to the FMS web site and download the latest FMS 2 alpha 8.5 version. It fixes a few problems that were in alpha 8.3 and also flys FMS version 2 beta 7 airplane models.

Make sure you've upgraded the PC to the latest version of DirectX from Microsoft too.

Now that I have installed the software, I can't get my computer to recognize the controller. I have reviewed all the other suggestions and I still am having problems. I'll keep at it!
