I have just whipped up a little app to edit par files and so far so good it loads, modifes,and saves. But only in english so far. So if I could have some help with any language you would like to see that would be great.
Also I really need help with the best min and max settings for each (sorry english only)

I'm also trying to write a .par file creator, I think it's to simple to be posted, but I'm doing a lot of improvements and I hope to be able to post it in a few days.
I can help you with the traduction to portuguese language.

PS: Can someone tell me how to post my .par file creator on the net??

How many MB have your *.par CREATOR?
If it's are not so large, I think we from Rc-Sim host it for you!

HI!
I hope my .par file applet to have no more then 180Kb (with sorce code and help files included), but the program by itself will be no larger then 60Kb (+ or -), as it is a CONSOLE (DOS based) application (written in QuickBASIC).

Hi all! My pa file editor is ready. But without heli support, is that important to anyone? I don't think I'll put it up on my site (I'm really bad at updating), so anyone want to host it .It's only 194K zipped and it would nice if it was a place where anyone could send a language file and have it available to everyone.
Language files just need to follow the format of english.dat (txt file) and placed in the same dir as the exe.

Heli support is not really that hard. But because the two par files are totally different it would more than double the size of the exe. I would also need a translation of a file to English but I'm more than willing to do it if I get 20 or more requests anyway

As for the code, it is really simple, no fancy dancy stuff. Using C++Builder 3. anyone who programs BCBuilder can drop me line it has some neat little hacks like mru and ini stuff

Does anyone have max / min values for the parameters of .par files?

I'm taking a shot at an editor - more easy to use in my opinion that some others I've used since it shows visually the porportion of your current value to the recommended max and min - very "visual" and easy to adjust for those not that familiar with aerodynamics.

To finish it all I need is the max / min values - till then I can't move on with it..

Any help?
