Hi,
Now I've got the Futaba/Hitec working great, one of our club members has a JR, I believe the pulse or modulation is differant, has anyone got source code for the PIC which will work with JR ?.

The PIC serial interface only works with a pulse width modulated signal (1-2ms each channel). I expect that this signal is available from the JR buddy connection. Is yours a 3.5mm mono jack plug? Give it a try. (signal tip, ground body)

I have just been working with a JR Max66 transmitter. The signal is different to Futaba in that it is AC coupled and amplitude only 1.2v peak to peak. This requires a different input circuit for the interface. I have posted this on my website for the IRQ interface - however the same first transistor arrangement would also work with the PIC serial design. :biggrin: Go to RC Projects>Flying Model Simulator Interface>Circuit Diagram for JR.

The hardware design on my site for the 9600 baud interface works with all makes of RC this input stage is used in thousands of interfaces and has never failed. The source code for the PIC will work with Futaba/Hitec/JR/Airtronics etc..
