JR problem again-X388s - problem with interface

I made a cable from customelectronics.co.uk that was specified for JR radios but it is dead with mine X388s.
Any suggestions?

Hi Mario
First can I check which windows operating system you are using? and have you been through the setup details (also on my website)?

Next check the interface is getting power (with FMS running and serial IRQ interface selected) with a voltmeter from GND (-) to junction of diode and TR2. Should be 5 to 8 volts. Pin 4 DTR should be about -8 volts

Next do you have access to an oscilloscope? You should see the signal at the collectors of TR1 and TR2.
