Since retiring I have more time to fly my RC planes, although I have very little experience of flying. However I found FMS on the internet and luckily my Art-Tech controller had a socket to interface into my PC.
It took awhile to figure out how to get FMS working as I hadn't realized you need to download the interface Smartpropoplus.
After about a week of crashing more than flying something "clicked" and after several more weeks spent many an hour in front of the PC flying various planes.
So the big day arrived last Friday and I took my Cessna to the local airfield and had a go at runway take-offs, flying and landing. The good news is that I did NOT crash and that the "actual" flying was exactly like the simulator.
So a BIG THANK YOU to FMS and all those who support the simulator with landscapes and models.
Keep up the good work.
Kindest Regards to all.
