my serial interface won't work with beta 7 - Interface worked with old version of FMS

HI,
I used an old version of FMS and got comercial cable that worked fine. I have just upgraded to beta 7 and can't get my interface to work now. The TX is Futaba FF6 and cable is a simple 6 pin DIN to 9 pin D type.

I guess that you select serial from analogue control menu. I've check the TX and com port.

Has any one else had the same problem?

If you're selecting "Serial PIC interface" it won't work because you don't have the new PIC microcontroller interface. You need to select the "Parallel/Serial IRQ interface" which is the old one. 16 or 32 bit, whichever works best for you.

Hi Steve,

Yes I tried all options under serial. I guessed that it was not pic.
SO I guess it should work, and I should check again PC, TX and cable. It is not a software issue.

It Works!!! I took some advice from another entry, and changed the com port settings. I took off xon /xoff and clicked calibrate and it sprung into life.
