Helicopter Tail control is no good - what can I do?

In FMS beta7 the cobra helicopter seems to work fine, but tail rotorcontrol is not sensitive.
The Hughes heli just spins around with little or no tail control, even with my tranny I/F disabled. I downloaded a TT Raptor model but this just spins around with no rotor control at all. The ThreeDee works perfectly. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Looks like you turned up a new problem.

1st can you give me some background?

What are you using for an input device (Joystick, Transmitter, Keyboard)?

When you callibrate your interface do you see full movement of the channel you assigned to the tail axis?

Do you have the exp. box checked for the tail axis?

Make sure you have your input from your joystick/transmitter mapped to the 5th channel down on the controll assignment window (Tail).

Are you the Ashley that was having trouble getting a password?

For me the one that looks like a mouse with whiskers works great. The combra is way to linear (doesn't feel real) the 3D is to snappy (twitchy) and there is one other one? the tail drifts - (probably more like a real heli)
I'm using flash 5 and parallele interface.

I used the mouse one to start and then went to the 3d models.

By your Feb 8 comments, do you mean that I must remap my TX when I change from planes to helis??
I just got a JR interface and was running thru various models and found I had no control when I went to a couple of the helis. That was after successfully controlling several of the plane models.
That brings up another ?? Do I need to set up collective-throttle mixing in the TX to get realistic operation?
BTW - running fms2.07.
