Nose diving models - Problems with level flying

Using FMS after calibrating the transmitter always results in 'diving' models. It's possible to trim the elevator (quite much) of the SUKOI but after it's trimmed in level flight it's reacting very tricky and inverted flying is nearly impossible. The Pitts needs only slight trimming and flies fine. The slow flyer I can only hold in the air with the stick full up and then it's still to fast for a slow flyer. Can somebody explain this behaviour? I am using a Hitec Flash 5 with original AeroFly interface cable. My System: Pentium II 233 MMX, 64 MB RAM, SIS AGP 8MB, DirectX 8, Win 98.

I am not using a remote control-I use a joystick and almost ALL model are nose in!
However, the info under pposting "TRIM" helps a lot!
It seems you need to change the wing incidence on line 15 of the *.par file-it only needs a slight change!

In fact, changing the incidence to 0.02 does the trick for

robc suggests to increase wing incidence to 0.02. This is the correct way, but I think, this value is still too low. Aeroplanes which fly straight without excessive trimming need an angle of attack of about 3 to 5 degrees, depending on the type of plane (e.g. a slowflyer must have approx 5.5 degrees to get a liftfactor (?) ca of 0.6. Transformed into radians (this is the unity used within the .par-file) you must write "0.095" (5.5 * pi/180 = 0.095) to line 15 in the .par-file belonging to your model.

So the low values are real faults in nearly all existing .par-files.
