Winman Attack - GamePort (not Attack 2) - Problem calibrating the 4-Buttons

Postby mdavid » Wed Oct 02, 2002 1:56 pm

Hello All,

I have a Winman Attack -(GamePort), It has 3-Axis 4-Buttons.
The 3-Axis are calibrated normaly but I can not calibrate the 4-Buttons inside FMS. I'm using the generic Microsoft driver for 3-Axis 4-Buttons Joystick. Logitech said to me that this is the correct driver for this device and there is no upgrade avaiabel.

Can Someone Help me Please :( ??

Regard's to You All

Hi Miguel

As far as I know, FMS currently does not support any fire buttons when using the joystick interface.

Hei Eric,

Thank you for Your fast anwser.

Can you tell me what Joystick is more apropriated (better to fly with) to use with FMS.

It can be an' other device. Please enlyghten me about this subject.

I design and build Model Hovercrafts and I fly sloap sailplaines, but i haven't fly for 5 years. So I need to have a lot of tractice the next time I'm going to crach my gluider.

I have a R/C Transmiter a Multiplex Europa Sprint (7 chanels and 3 Mixer). I'm looking to build a cable for my MPX, but i'm looking for thr diagram to link thr MPX budi socket (5 pin) to a 9 pin RS232 serial port.

Thank you again.

Hi Miguel

Personally, I do not like to practice using a joystick, as it does not give me the feeling or control as when using my transmitter.

Also, it depends on your transmitter mode. I'm using mode 1 (throttle and ailerons on the right hand), and when using the joystick, I get sort of confused.

I make use of my own interface, which has joystick and serial PIC interface in one. Have a look on my web, just press the "Homepage" button below. There you will find several interfaces, as well as radio connections. Alternatively, have a look at some of my links. There you will find ready-build interfaces as well.
