Hi,
are the input pins for the parallel and serial circuit identical? May I connect the same two connectors of my radio to both solutions?

Yes all the interfaces use exactly the same 2 connections at the radio end. Signals are Ground and Encoder Out. Pins depend on what sort of radio it is.
