Using Drawings in Metasequoia.

An easy way to use drawings in Metasequoia is:
• Make one object using primitive – plate.
• Clone this object 2 times.
• Turn the 2 latter 90 degrees around the X-axis and one of them round the Y-axis.
• Your Metasequoia workspace should now look like this.
• If you want, you can now save this file to use it as a template. If you do, start over again and import the template and you are ready to go on with the next step.

Next step is to make drawings.
• Find a 3-plane blueprint of an airplane on the internet, use a scanner or make it in some design program.
• Make 3 drawing from this blueprint, one viewed from the top/bottom, one side view and one front view. Make sure the plane is in center of each drawing and that the drawing is absolutely square (like 200 x 200 pixles). Save as 3 different BMP files.

Assigning the drawings to object:
• Make 3 materials, each whit the “tex” from the drawings of the airplane.
• You may have to turn some object to get it right.
Now you can use the contours in this drawing to make the different parts in Metasequoia.

After you have finished, just delete the “drawing” objects and finish your Metasequoia model
