Serial interface + FC-16 - Is it going to work sometime?

Postby Jender » Mon Jul 14, 2003 8:54 pm

Hi,

I've read about quit some difficulties with the serial-ppm interface. And checked them all on my own (at least, I guess I did).

The problem is: FMS isn't responding to my Robbe Futaba FC-16 transmitter (with F1505 module).

Futher I use Windows 98 (so that's not the failure). The interface is connected to the COM2. I tried both the 32 and 16 bit possibility in FMS. I'm completely sure these settings are also correct.

Also I tested the interface itself. When connect to the COM2, but not to the transmitter, I get a voltage level of aproximately 7,5V. After turning on the transmitter this goes up to something about 10,5V. (I'm not sure anymore if I reversed these numbers).

I use the interface with 2 transistor (BC547 and 557) en 4 resistors (6,8 kOhm 0,25W).

Is there anyone who can help me out?!

I don't get it anymore, I've tried about everything, but nothing seems to work.

I'd appreciate some help!

Thanx.
Jender
