Could someone please make a B-17 Bomber from WW2. I am planning to buy one and i would greatly aprecitate practicing off the airfeild.

Status update:

Fuselage and wings are finished (exept some smaller adjustments)

Parallel I'm working out a tutorial about the B-17...

Development update:

Woooow - I worked hard today for some hours.
The outcome is definitely worth a glance:

Of course I couldnt wait, so I packed everything together and transfered it to FMS. Yes it flies already!!!

Now comes the hard part on it: details and texturing....

thats not a b-17 its a link to the FMS fourms....besides i want lego's custom model...why? well seing his skil.l well his atleast willing to make such a diffacult model to make THE B_!7. besides i would not ask anyone to make a b-17 if a couldnt find one already..

I could download the B-17 from red91sit. It was a bit tricky.

Well the model looks on a first glance like a B-17F but somehow the proportions are not satisfying. E.G. the Cockpit windows are too large and dont have the characteristic angle.
The wings are way to thin! and the bottom turret is a bit small...
The flightmodel is also not what I expected... ???

But in general I would say: seems that we already have a B-17!!!!

Good job red91sit so far!

But WingedBird, I'll continue with my one, because I wanted to make some derivates, You know: the B-17F and B-17G with the big nose gun turret... :p

Developement update:

Yeah, the 3D model is finished - now is only left the texturing...
But also without textures it already looks good!
