I have a Laptop with fms and dont have com-port direct.

Have usb->serial converter instead (Com3)

But can not get com3 to show in 32-bit-vxd
Why? Can i fix this?

Check first that your serial to USB is working OK. You should see the comm3 port in Control Panel>system>device manger.

A couple of laptop users have used my PIC Serial interface with a serial to USB connector. So it should work.

If you get stuck I have a direct Tx to USB interface that makes your tx look like a joystick and you can use with other programs as well as FMS.
