FMS Aircraft and Landscape Installer V2 - Version 2

Hi all,

You will find version 2 of my Aircraft and Landscape Installer here:

This version has several new features:

1. It can now install Landscapes as well
2. It features a new Developers section which allows you to easily add your aircraft into zip files.
3. It has a new 'look' for easier use
4. Oh, and I added a set of Credits which I think you might like :p

Please post any comments or let me know if you find any bugs that I have missed.

I'm a bit confused about what your installer do.
As I understand it right they just copy an already extracted file from directory A to directory B...
If so - I dont see the advantage of it.

Here are my suggestions for your next versions:

1.) easy to use GUI, not graphically overloaded
2.) the installer should allow to select a zip-file which will be extrated to a seperated subfolder in FMS/Models with the model's name
3.) the same with landscapes
4.) a preview of the aircraft while browsing zip-files (if aircraft_prv.jpg is available)
5.) a function that allows to install a whole download directory full with zip-files in one step (mass-install)

Hiya,

My Installer will only install the zip files (non-extracted). It won't just copy aircraft from one directory to another. It will also make zip files for those who wish to compile their aircraft for the web. Mass-Install seems like a good idea though. The next version is already underway and has the preview of the jpg image on it.
