Ok i Started designing a new plane for FMS.. it is called the ####-CAT..Nice looking WWII fighter type Plane. I found A 3-view of it at
so far it looks pretty good..once i get it alittle farther along i'll post some pics of it.

Hey, I had a look onto your Hellcat project.
Looks good so far, but there were some points which could be improved:

- The cockpit seems to be a bit too large.
- The prop has far too less poligons! A prop should have at least 16 poligons (not the 8 by default) to appear round in FMS.

Ok, with only the screenshot I cannot tell you more...

I'm looking forward to the finalized Hellcat!

cool , thanks for the input..I haven't had time to finalize it but know that you have pointed out a few spots I shall work on the areas mentioned and reload it in the very near future. You'll know if it is done if you see updated on the site for it.

OK, I got around to getting the plane revised. I borrowed the paint scheme from the SF_MK22 for now this will be changed. I think you all should enjoy this fighter plane...I think this release looks alot better than the first one..You can download this one at the download page of my site..

Please give feed back on it so I can make any needed changes..

Hi,
I downloaded the file from your projects page. What I found in it looks more like a Spitfire than a Hellcat...

Btw.: did you have already downloaded my three new planes?

ok, I did download your planes..Nice job the after-burners look good to..

I took another look ant my plane snd notice my flaws the made it look similar to the spitfire..I belive I got all of the flaws taken care of other than a repaint..re-download and let me know..

I want it right before I re-paint it.

Looks much better now! Maybe you can insert the 3-view as a background image into Metasequoia, then you can better see if you have met all the dimensions and got the right proportions.

There is a function in the 'view' menu called 'set background images'. Use it to load that image and then you can simply push the button 'img' on the top border of the main view panel.
It is very easy and extremely helpfull!

thanks for the tip with Met..I never knew I could do that..That is an awsome edition I'm going to go back threw the plane one last time to make sure it matches the 3-view now..There will be one last update to the Plane then an new paint scheme and it should be set..I'll let the forum know when this is completed..

ok,,
I have finally got the H.E.L.L.-Cat finished..
thanks lego..on the image tip..
this should look good to you all..
It's supposed to be 60 scale but I think it is bigger than that..
Anyhow enjoy..It will not work with the new version8..
just head to the site for the new updated files in Zip format..
