I need help puting a model in FMS !!

Here is the model,

This is what it looks like in FMS.

I can find no way to map it in metasequoia, I've looked at the tutorials and it seems that I donot have a map button to place the map. Is there something I'm missing ?? Thanks for any help. ???

Hi Donamy!

The "map", a bitmap (.bmp) picture wich contains the deco you want, has to be placed in the same directory as the model you are making, or else the path in the .x file will be wrong.
To put it on, you have to scale and rotate it to match the model.
You also have to set the path in "material property.

The material button is unde "Command > Face", called "mat"

When you have created the .x file, you must also copy the bitmap to the same FMS directory.

Thanks for the response, but from what I've read of some of the turoials, there should be a 'map' button under 'Rot' in the command area. I don't have one in my copy of metasequiaLE. Or is this a different version that doesn't need it. ???

Uncheck "Basic Mode" under the file menu and your [Map] button will appear.
