3dstudio MAX import - How to import models from .3ds etc..

Hi, i have a lot of experience with 3dstudio max and would like to use this software to create models for FMS can I use it? is there an import /export plug or utility? cuz i can churn out low poly planes at like 4 an hour....with 3ds max...

Grab a copy of the free Metasequoia LE and see what file formats it will import. That's the traditional 3D tool for FMS. If 3DStudio Max can export one of those, it should give you a starting point.
