i want to make my own interface

i have a airtronics vanguard radio and i was wondering does any one know how could i make the interface cable my selph??? i know how to solder i just need detailed pic and list of parts that i will need.oh yeah and i am runing windows XP.

For Windows XP, you will need one of the following interfaces:
- FMS Serial PIC Interface.
- Joystick Interface
- USB Joystick Interface
- SmartPropo

I am not sure if the PPJoy Virtual Joystick Drivers now works with the Parallel PPM Interface.

PPJoy currently supports the parallel port PPM interface on Windows 2000 and XP. It does not support this interface on Windows 98 or ME.
