I'm getting better at creating models from older version 2.7 models. but I have this one dogging hassle with this new improved version of FMS.
I'm working on Deiter Witmar's Shockflyer, I've already got it modeled pretty nicely for flight. It's the crashing, the subsequent thrashing about it does on the ground, and the following blue screen exception error that takes several three finger salutes, plus a warm reboot to clear, that's got me irked.
I admit that I've REALLY tweaked this model, it's got it's PAR files for the XYZ axis' turned way down to the .04 to .003 range just to get the immediacy of how quickly a Shocky responds to controls. I also had to reduce the line for the by product of inertia below the 3 file lines for inertia.
Now for a possible solution, Can you improve on the set up for PAR files for the collision points to model a really light depron model? As I'm assuming that the adjustments for the physics of the POINTS in a crash are over responding, what would be a good starting point as this model weighs .145 Kg.?
BTW thanks Messer. Moeller(s) for your improved Version 2.8
Looee
