New2 to downloading planes and backgrounds and such. I have been flying r/c models for20 yrs or so and have now gotten the fms sim for my two sons to learn on, I would like to know how to download other planes to the fms program, GWS planes some other trainers or whatever is out there please help. Your PC requires a copy of WinZip to unzip models that you download. So get that installed on your machine first if you don't have it there already.
Then go to any of the numerous download sites listed on the FMS web page as links:
Click on the link to download, tell your PC to Open the file, WinZip will then open the file. Then Extract the files to the C:\Program Files\FMS\Model directory of FMS 2.8.x.
You should then see the new models when you choose Model Load withing FMS.
