XP service pack 2 - Problems

Anyone having problems with XP with SP2

Yes, I had a perfectly good home built twin two button joystick into the game port, working well. after XP Prof SP2 the FMS program only "sees" one joystick and does not control the model. yet all seems fine and normal using Control Panel, Game Controllers. Here both sticks calibrate OK, but will not control the model in MFS Alpha 8.3 or 8.5. Baffling.

i was running sp1 for the longest time, and had NOT one problem, then recently reloaded OS and updated to SP2, and now it tends to crash, frequently, either by freezing the computer screen and controls, ctrl/alt/del has no effect at this point,
or a total reboot, via a quick flash of the imfamous blue screen of death... :p

Hi !

Regarding SP2, now I am not able to start FMS!!!
everytime I start FMS, an error is promted... "an exception (C0000005 ) occured during Dllentry point...."
followed by file location.

I tried diffrent versons of FMS, but all failed.. also tried "run in 95"

Any one with a fix????
